The production process of Messebo cement factoryconsists of the latest pre_calciner techenology. The factory uses raw material conveying system.The raw materials used by the planr to produce the required quality of portland cement are limestone,silica sand,shale and iron ore. Along with these raw materials some additives,like gypsum,areadded to retard setting time of the cement.Techenically advanced machinery is provided to pre-homogenize the raw materials to ensure production having consistent quality.

Feed Hoppers

The material feed to to a crushing in a cement plant is usually supplied in batches by dampers or loaders,in batches of 20 to 50 tons or more.For efficient reception of materials of this amount,a big hopper is necessery.Further,the hopper has an equalising function to minimise the variation among the baches of materials recived.The hopper must resist the heavy load from often big stone-blocks,which fall into the hopper from a height of 8-10m dampers or loaders.

Feeder

The feeder supplies the crusher with a flow of material from the feed hopper for optimum utilisation of the crusher,irrespective of irregularities in the supply of raw material to the feed hopper. In some cases,cone crusher and jaw crusher can work without feeders if they are placed directly under the feed hopper.Most other types of crushers need a feeder for securing a regular rate of feed.

Apron Feeder

For course materials,that is primary crushing of rocky materials, an inclined apron feeder with 20 percent inclination is normally used,at this will authomatically assure a suitable,stable layer on the appron,irrespective of the contents in the feed hopper. If the correct inclination is insured,a special arrangement to limit thickness of the layer of feed material on the feeder can be avoided. The appron feeder is furnished with driving station with variale speed.The apron feeder handle even rather sticky materials very well. By using inclining feeders,the building heihgt of the crushing plant can be reduced,which again means reduced construction expenses. Horizontal or gental sloping apron feeders are sometimes used for materials,with reduced jmming risk like pre-crushed stone,marl and chalk.
